What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese stress reduction technique that promotes the body’s relaxation response and natural healing ability. It is administered by a Reiki practitioner by laying their hands over the receivers body allowing the life force energy to flow to where it needs to.

The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words; Rei- “God’s wisdom / the Higher Power” and Ki – “Life force energy”. So in translation Reiki means “Spiritually guided life force energy” .

Reiki is a natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement. Everyone’s experience is different, as everyone is on their own unique journey. One might feel heat or tingly sensations, or maybe nothing at all. Whether or not you feel it there is a glowing radiance of positive energy that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including the body, emotions, mind and spirit. Allowing one to come into a complete state of relaxation. Reiki is safe and beneficial for soon to be mommys.

Every Reiki practitioner has their own way on how they perform their sessions to their clients. So I will share what my sessions include, but keep in mind I go with my intuition as well so each session may be different depending on what calls to me during that session.

For a single session (1 person):

  • 45 minutes
  • Massage Table
  • Reflection before and after
  • Meditation
  • Cleansing
  • Incense, essential oils or both.
  • Sound healing
  • Crystal healing
  • Chakras

For a couple session (2 people):

  • 1 Hour
  • Blanket
  • Both are laying side by side while sharing the energy
  • Meditation
  • Cleansing
  • Incense, essential oils or both.
  • Sound Healing
  • Crystal Healing
  • Chakras

I also provide distance / virtual Reiki, message me for more information.

You won’t know how to describe it until you experience it for yourself.

Honor your Womb

🌹Every woman’s uterus needs attention, love & gratitude. When we are one with the womb. We are one with the Goddess. – Dr. Rosita Arvigo. 🌹

✨It is that time of the month for me which means time to take it slow, time to honor and nurture my body, my womb and my mind.

✨I wish I knew all that I know now back when I was younger. I wish I knew the importance of honoring my body especially during this time of the month. But I can’t change the past, all I can do is learn, grow and share with others.

✨I was one of the ones who would have horrible periods; heavy, extreme cramps, headaches, which would last 2 weeks. I’m not a fan of taking pills but during that time I always had to take pills to alleviate some of the pain.

✨It wasn’t until a couple months ago that I learned that I can actually appreciate my cycle. I was able to accept that it’s ok to not do anything, it’s ok to rest, it’s ok to take time for myself.
This all happened when I did a womb meditation, the message was clear for me, she wanted to be honored. And that is when I changed my mindset.

✨It’s been months that I have taken medicine during my cycle and it’s all because of: meditation, breath work, food, herbs, movement, love, gratitude and honor.

✨I still have so much to learn. But I am glad that I no longer have to take a pill to help.

🌹I hope one day we will change how we look at periods and teach all young girls how they should actually celebrate and honor their cycles. 🌹

Dance in the Forest

Life is a dance. From the dark to the light.

I know what I want, I know what makes my soul bright.

There’s so much I want to say, so much to do. So for now I will write until it’s time to show you.

Yes I love books but I’m no writer per say.

I journal and dream and imagine all day.

I’ve been lost and distracted, but I’ve seen the signs.

This is the time to share and set fear aside.

I will dance in the forest and set my soul free, so next time you’ll see I will be who I was meant to be.
